Senior Buyer


Your responsibilities

• We are looking for a Senior Buyer - AUTOMOTIVE PARTS - for our international team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement processes, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring the best value for our organization. You will be responsible for follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic purchasing, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for various categories.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their procurement needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of procurement processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to procurement activities.

Our requirements

• Degree in engineering (mechanical or similar) or technical diploma with relevant industrial experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic procurement or purchasing
• Experience using ERP systems
• Proven track record of successful negotiations and supplier management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse international team
• Very good command of English
• Knowledge of Lean SixSigma will be an additional advantage
