Supplier Quality Engineer

Your responsibilities

 

 

  • Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions.
  • Manage the approval process for both new projects and technical changes
  • Track supplier quality performance, participate in performance reviews and report metrics through company tools.
  • Review key indicators monthly while promoting problem resolution using root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Monitor supplier recovery activities and ensure the implementation of recovery activities and plans to ensure the required requirements.
  • Perform regular product and process audits at suppliers to support problem resolution and develop continuous improvement
  • Support the customer quality team in resolving supplier quality issues.
  • Cross-functional teams to improve quality, delivery and costs through the application of continuous improvements and lean philosophy.
  • Act as supplier quality support contact during external/internal audits as required.

Our requirements

 

 

  • Higher education - degree in engineering (mechanical or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry,
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written,
  • Knowledge of MS Office, at least at an intermediate level,
  • Practical knowledge of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP),
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools (PDCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FTA, 8D),
  • Experience in auditing supplier processes (pre-selection, serial audit),
  • Focus on compliance with standards,
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
